Empire State South

Jamestown is anxiously awaiting the launch of award-winning Chef Hugh Acheson's first Atlanta restaurant set to open late this summer at 999 Peachtree.  The new venture, called Empire State South, will be a contemporary and casual meat 'n' three restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A finalist for 2009's James Beard Foundation's Best Chefs in the Southeast award and named a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2002, Acheson, who owns acclaimed Athens, GA restaurants Five & Ten and The National, was an early proponent of fresh, local and responsible cuisine and is known for his support of such groups as Georgia Organics, Georgia Rivers Network and the Southern Foodways Alliance.

"Empire State So. will be a community restaurant focused on southern staples.  It will make you crave okra, smothered pork chops, and collard greens," says Acheson.  Under Chef Acheson's direction, ESS will offer guests the opportunity to dine al fresco with a two sided indoor/outdoor bar.  Cultivating an inviting atmosphere, ESS will also feature an herb garden and bocce ball court.  Located at 999 Peachtree, breakfast and lunch will be served weekdays, dinner will be served Monday through Saturday and brunch will be served on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fitness Center

Jamestown and Cousins Properties are proud to announce the opening of the new fitness center at 999 Peachtree. The arrival of this state of the art facility marks another benchmark achieved in the comprehensive improvement plan for 999 Peachtree.

Conceived as a private amenity reserved solely for tenants of the building, the 999 Fitness Center will offer a range of fitness equipment and services.   Featuring treadmills, an elliptical machine, a stationary bicycle, stairmaster, free weights, and various Cybex weight training machines, the facility offers the equipment necessary for a well rounded fitness routine, conveniently accessible to all tenants from 6am to 10pm seven days a week.

Additionally, the 999 Fitness Center features a treatment room which may be used for sessions for personal trainers, massage, or stretch therapy.  Tenants can also take advantage of functional movement, personal, and golf specific training. The fitness center provides well appointed men’s and women’s locker room facilities, each offering two showers, double vanities, and lockers.

Conference Room
 

As a leader in the development of a Midtown business district with a global reach, 999 Peachtree is proud to announce the opening of its premier Conference Facility. Providing the sophistication and flexibility to accommodate small business meetings and large presentations, the conference facility allows the user to deliver a productive event with seamless business services. Available to all tenants of 999 Peachtree, the Conference Facility consists of several multi-function areas in Suite 550 on the 5th Floor.

Users of the facility may greet guests in the pre-function area, which is outfitted with announcement screens and welcoming, comfortable group seating. The pre-function space is also ideal for hosting a reception prior to gathering in the large presentation room.

The presentation room can be adapted to fit your needs, with the ability to break down into two smaller breakout rooms, or one larger conference room and the facility is equipped with audio and visual enhancements for effective business presentations. The facility offers high definition projectors, large projection screens, podium control centers, and makes available a cable television feed, VHS, DVD, and lap top presentation feeds, the Sony Wii, AVI hookups, as well as a conferencing speaker phone.

For convenience, the Conference Facility features a catering kitchen to support breakfast meetings, luncheons or cocktail receptions. The conference room is equipped with a buffet style catering kitchen which includes a refrigerator with icemaker and dishwasher.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Maximum seating capacity is 100 people, with table seating accommodating 96 people.
